"Food in Ancient Greece". Historylink101. Web. 10 April 2014. <http://historylink101.com/2/greece3/food.htm>.
This source is very informative because it describes the kinds of foods that the ancient Greeks ate. It also talks about how they used it, and how they made it. It tells of how they ate it such as what they used to eat their food. For example, they had no utensils they ate with their hands (it says that in the site as well). Also, the article states how they preserved their food, since there was no such thing as refrigeration, and how they cooked it. Finally, the article explains their eating schedule and habits, such as what breakfast and lunch consisted of.
Bergez, John and Mark Falstein. "Geography and the Settlement of Greece". History Alive!: The Ancient World. Rancho Cordova: Teachers' Curriculum Institute, 2011. 271-275. Print.
The textbook is an excellent and credible source since it was written by history teachers for classes. Chapter 25, which talks about the geography, climate, and farming techniques that they used, gives the information needed to discuss the reasons why the ancient Greeks had the foods they did and why they did not have certain foods. It also notifies who they grew and made food for. It advises that the Greeks raised animals for food and grew trees for food, oils, and spices. They tell about the difficulties some ancient Greek farmers had making food. They talk about goods they traded like grain.

This site is very resoursceful because it goes more into detail about the foods and hor they make it, for example they say that olives wre either picked by hand or nocked out of a tree with a wooden stick. It also states that some of the food that they harvest was not just used for eating but used for other things such as lighting, beauty products, and athletic purposes. They even go into to detail about who picked what or who farmed and cooked what. This is very good for information about the greek foods. It says what foods were used for certain religions and why.
